Are you ready for fall yet? I can’t wait! I’m kinda over summer. If you have a student going into college, they are experiencing a mixture of excitement and nerves. The thought of living in the dorms is especially fun and a bit scary. When I was in college, my roommate and I made our room one of the cutest on that floor. Making the dorm room a comfy oasis is a must for students that are away from home. But that can get expensive, so this week I decided to do a budget decor DIY for any dorm room or bedroom.
These pillows can be made very cheaply or even free. You can customize these t-shirt pillows for anyone with the right shirt. I am currently on a t-shirt pillow making spree, as you can see. They are fun to make, and you can make your own in less than an hour.
I hope you have had a great summer so far. It’s hard to believe that we are nearly halfway through summer vacation. But thankful there is still plenty of summer left to enjoy. I’ve been enjoying time outside and time with my family, and I’m always on the lookout for new things that will help my summer go even better. I decided to look through what Heartland America has to offer and I wanted to share some of the great products that I found with you.
Keep enjoying your summer with some great shoes for all your warm weather fun.
Earth Origins Tessa sandals are sure to be your favorite summer sandals. The white dual leather straps are adorable and adjustable with metal accents, and the cushioned insoles offer comfort and support for summer fun.
I can’t believe that Father’s Day is less than two weeks away! Sometimes it is difficult to decide what to buy for my dad because he has so many skills and hobbies. I get my creativity from both my parents, but I think the urge to “just go for it and make things happen” comes from my dad. 🙂
With so many hobbies and pastimes to choose from, I made some inspiration boards from items offered by Heartland America. There is so much to choose from that finding the perfect gift for Father’s Day will be easy.
By using these boards, I hope you can find great gifts to celebrate the dad’s in your life this Father’s Day as well.
Here are some Father’s Day gift ideas for those dads who love playing in the great outdoors.
Perfect for privacy when your family is camping or a place to change at the beach, the Stansport Privacy Shelter is wind and rain resistant and sets up in just minutes.
The TrekHD Camcorder is not only great at capturing outdoor memories but it’s waterproof so he can record the fun not only on the water but in the water as well.
Mother’s Day is just a little over a week away! You know what that means…shopping! I love shopping for and giving gifts. Finding that perfect gift that you know the other person will love is such a thrill. I can’t wait to find that special something that will make my mom’s face light up.
Heartland has a great selection of products that would make a perfect Mother’s Day gift.
I decided to put together a few boards to help me decide what would be best for my mom. I hope these ideas will help you find the perfect gift for your mother. Or if you are a mother, you can direct your loved ones to these great gift ideas.
Jewelry is always a lovely gift for any mother. Here are some great ideas to add some sparkle and bling to your mom’s special day.
Diamonds always make a breathtaking gift. This ¼ carat diamond tennis bracelet is a beautiful gift that will bring out a sparkle in your mom’s eyes.
If your mother is more traditional, there is nothing more lovely and timeless than a pearl necklace. It will add an elegant touch to any wardrobe.
I hope the team you were cheering for during the big game won and if not hopefully you had lots of great snacks to drown your sorrows. Thankfully Valentine’s Day is just around the corner which means chocolate, roses, hearts, and love themed everything. Although love is in the air and everywhere, my Valentine’s Day decor is sadly lacking. But Valentine’s Day gifts take priority over decor in my budget. So if I want to show my home some love, any project I choose has to be inexpensive and I thrive on that challenge. Going through my stash of crafting supplies, I found some spray paint from another project and a bit of inexpensive lace. That inspired me to create a Valentine’s Day DIY: a Love and Lace canvas.
It’s really easy and quick to make and doesn’t take a lot of supplies. You can make our own in just one evening.
I can’t believe it is nearly Christmas! I still have a few things to whip up for family and friends before then and just maybe you do too. With the deadline fast approaching, you and I both need something quick and easy to make for our loved ones who love to cook. A wood burned spoon is perfect for a last minute DIY gift. All you need is a wood burning tool and a wooden spoon, and you can make it in under 15 minutes!
You can make a completely custom spoon as detailed or as simple as you want. No special skills required. (This project was actually the first time I’ve tried wood burning and I was really pleased with the result.)
Christmas time is upon us! I don’t know about you but it is my favorite time of year. Everything seems brighter and warmer and that’s not just because of the snow outside forcing me to snuggle up inside.
Giving people gifts that they love is one of my favorite parts of the season. I have lots of ideas for all the ladies on my list, but ideas for the guy’s gifts are not coming to me as easily.
So I decided to start at Heartland America and make some inspiration boards on the types of guys I need to buy for. I hope these boards help you out as well!
First, no doubt there’s an avid golfer guy somewhere on your gift list:
With winter in full swing, golfers need to practice somewhere to keep their game sharp. The Collapsible Chipping Basket allows the golfer in your life to keep practicing their shots indoors and folds up for easy storage.
