dry active yeast
(cooked and cut into large chunks)
sliced fresh mozzarella
pizza or pasta sauce
(10 oz) package
(thawed and squeezed dry)
Combine yeast and warm water in a large bowl and let sit for 5 minutes.
Mix in flour, salt, and olive until thoroughly combined.
Knead mixture into a smooth dough adding water sparingly as needed.
Cover and let raise in a warm place for about 45 minutes or until the dough has doubled.
Punch down then separate 1/4 of the dough to be use later.
Roll the rest of the dough into a sheet to cover the bottom and sides of the loaf tin.
Grease a loaf tin well with butter.
Place dough sheet into loaf tin pressing dough against the bottom and sides.
Layer sliced mozzarella into the bottom.
Place cooked sausage pieces in a layer over cheese.
Spoon sauce over sausages.
Mix together egg and squeezed spinach.
Place spinach mixture over sauce layer.
Layer sliced mozzarella over spinach.
Layer pepperoni over cheese.
Roll set aside dough into a sheet large enough to cover loaf.
Moisten loaf dough edges.
Lay dough sheet over loaf and press into edges.
Trim off excess dough.
Bake in preheated 400 degree oven for 50-60 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Cut in slices to serve.
