Hello everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas! Leading up to Christmas was absolutely crazy, but Christmas day was wonderfully relaxing. We spent time opening presents, eating well, and enjoying each other’s company. So Christmas was definitely a success! Now back to real life. But I did get some cash this Christmas. Although some of it needs to go to grownup expenses, I still have some left over to treat myself to something nice.
As I was browsing through HeartlandAmerica.com, I decided to put together a collection of items for your Christmas cash. Because after the craziness of the holidays, we all need to give ourselves a little treat.
For the ladies out there who been going nonstop, here are some great items to make the rest of your winter wonderful.
First you are going to love this stylish white jacket from Landway. The breathable polyester shell proves great wind and water resistance for those sloppy winter days. It has a detachable hood and even an interior pocket for your cell phone. Winter can be harsh on you and your valuable electronics.
Merry (almost) Christmas everyone! Less than two weeks until Christmas, are you ready? Now that there is snow on the ground, it feels a lot like Christmas. But I’m still not quite ready. For all those who have their gifts bought and wrapped, hats off to you! My list isn’t quite finished yet. One thing I am ready for is the extended family Christmas party. As you know, I love to give new twists to classic flavors and recipes. So this year for the party, I gave peppermint a different twist by making a peppermint cream dessert with chocolate wafers.
This layered dessert is light and refreshing. The blend of peppermint and chocolate is perfect for the holidays especially after a hearty Christmas feast. Cream softens the peppermint flavor so even those who avoid candy canes will love it. This yummy dessert is destined to become a Christmas favorite at your holiday party.
