Fall is on it’s way! And so is the new school year. I just love the feel of new school supplies. When I was young, I would prepare everything for the new year right after the shopping trip. This was usually several weeks in advance. Such fun memories. Soon it will be time for routines, No. 2 pencils, and lunch boxes. In the back to school spirit, I decided to turn the classic PB&J sandwich into peanut butter waffles with jelly and whipped cream. As a bonus I decided to include a DIY this week that makes birthdays and other celebrations even more special.
The peanut butter waffles are fantastic with jelly, jam, or maple syrup. It’s a fun twist on the school staple that is even great for lunch. This waffle recipe is easy, fun, filling, and not too sweet. The bonus tablecloth DIY can be made in an afternoon and can carry birthday memories throughout the years.
